Green Tea


Hey dolls! So ... one of my favorite things to do is to add a warm cup of Green Tea to my every day life. I usually like to do this before bed time to wind down at the end of the day - because I am so about that life - but if I find the time for an extra cup during the day I get so excited! I like to change it up - I drink it by itself it if is yummy flavored, but if I have fresh lemons and local organic honey to add it makes it even more yummy! My body loooves to hold on to extra fluid for many reasons but mostly because I have an under-active thyroid, so I found this method helps me to detox, and I notice the next morning I am not as swollen. I know this is a random topic, but I chose to post about this today because I would love to know if any of you enjoy green tea ... and if you have a particular detox tea that you enjoy (flavor or brand etc) please share it with me! I am always open to try new things, and I am so over the whole retaining water thing ... so help a sista out!

I don't really now about how the green tea helps....but I'll take your word for it. My choice of drawing out toxins and strss relief (and a way to balance pH levels) is to soak in a warm bath. In this warm bath mix in a handful of Epson Salt, half a cup of baking soda, and 10 drops of lavendar essential oil. Soak for at least 20 minutes. :)

Well thank you Lee! I will definitely give that a try as well. :) green tea is a great detox as well...I just haven't found my favorite brand of teas just yet. Let me know if you ever run into any you love.
