Skin Care Favorites for S E N S E T I V E skin

Hey dollies! First off let me start by saying this is my first "request" blog post so I am super pumped about that! I wanna make you guys happy so if you have a request just let me know! I will try my best! I hope this information helps you guys. It is completely out of my comfort zone to speak about skin care so I really hope I don't botch this post up for you guys. Fingers crossed!

So totally speaking ONLY from personal experience here ...
I have found that these lines are some of the best for my sensitive skin. I have struggled with finding my holy grail products. I use different items from each of these lines so I can at least vouch for the specific things that I use/have used. Since middle school my skin has been an on going battle. There are few days (if not any) out of each month that my face is COMPLETELY clear. I would love to know how it feels to not wear any make-up out in public and be comfortable in my own skin .... but because I don't have that luxury in life ... I am so grateful that I have such a love for make-up! Trying to focus on the positives people! I have linked each of these brand names to their own page that will either tell you all about the history of the line specifically, or it will tell you the ingredients that are found in their products. I chose these brands because I feel that the ingredients in these products are the best for me. I also feel it is so important for us to be aware and to stay away from all the additive chemicals they like to sneak in products. I am going to share with you the specific products that I have had experience with from each of these lines. I am always open to learn more about new things so if you have anything you feel you need to share with me please do so in the comments below! This is short and sweet because I feel like you guys could go to the links and do a little research on these brands to see what you feel will be the best for you. So lets get started ...

Algenist - The only product from Algenist I have used is their Genius Cream. First off it smells fantastic. I personally can only use this at night because I don't like anything heavy in the morning under my make up.

Aveeno - Absolutely love the Clear Complexion line.

Caudalie - just currently purchased the Beauty Elixir from Sephora. I am impressed. I love to use it on my face after I take off my make up at night, and I also use it under my make-up, or it can be doubled on top of my make-up as a make-up setting spray. Many different ways to use this which is another thing I love about it. It smells so fresh, natural, and clean!

Fresh - I love this cleanser from fresh. I love their sugar scrubs and facial masks and their lip exfoliator. Their whole line is pretty amazing. I have been to a Fresh store in NYC and that is where the love for this product began. All thanks to my Aunt for sharing this product with me!

Ole Henriksen - If you guys are looking for an eye lift in a bottle ... here it is. Yes, you heard me. I haven't played around with many other products by him ... but I have been educated on it and I can't wait to try other things. I have to say I love their make-up removing wipes as well!

Philosophy - This face wash was described to me as the lazy girl's face wash. I have to agree. It is like make up remover and face wash in a bottle. Everything comes off in ONE wash. I love how gentle the formula is! I have also used their shower gels before and I love them too! However ... I don't know how I feel about it being used as a shampoo ... especially for color clients.

St. Ives - I have used this scrub since middle school. LOVE. And sooooo affordable. Not something to use every day because it is a scrub ... duh ... but at least twice a week-ish.

Do you fabulous people have any other recommendations to share with me?
XOXO-
B
